OUR ANNUAL EVENTS

At the beginning of December each year we hold the “Gleneagles Annual Ball”. This is a very fine and grand formal occasion, held in the stunning Pacific Ballroom of the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The live music is played by the twenty-four member Vancouver Fiddle Orchestra. 

This elegant gala event begins with a delicious luncheon. This is followed by a few hours of dancing and concludes with a very fine dessert buffet. Dancers attend from the lower mainland, other parts of BC, Alberta, the United States and occasionally Scotland. We also welcome a lively group of young dancers from two dance schools. Our Ball is certainly one of the highlights on the Vancouver dancing calendar.
